The British Transport Police (BTP) has withdrawn an appeal over an alleged luggage theft on a London to Leeds train.
Officers recently appealed for information after a suspected luggage theft on a train between London King’s Cross and Leeds on Wednesday, June 3.
But a man contacted police following the appeal.
No further action will be taken and police are no longer investigating the incident.
A BTP spokesman said: “I would like to thank the media, the public, and the man who came forward, for their assistance with this appeal.”
