A Christmnas window Leeds shopping wonder
Harvey Nichols on Briggate has unveiled its Christmas window campaign for 2017 which has been inspired by vibrant colours on the catwalks at the Autumn / Winter 2017 fashion shows.
Across the famous department store chain’s entire remit, the displays feature 5,370m of LED strip lights, the equivalent in length to 478 Routemaster buses; 5,101 hanging baubles, neon balls and stars, and more than 2000m of sparkly vinyl, 3,555 vinyl stars, 382 rotating mirror balls, 62 bespoke wigs have been made and 620 mannequins have been given a manicure.

Hide AdJanet Wardley, Head of Visual Display, said: “Themes of joy and positivity ran through the Autumn and Spring Summer shows, evoking a determination not to dwell on the uncertain times of the current climate.
“This inspired us to create a high energy scheme that uses dazzling colours, lights and shapes to entertain our customers – some of the vinyls are so bright that the team had to wear sunglasses during the install.”
