Leeds is luckily home to some great pubs and restaurants, many of which have worked hard to create a great outdoor space for customers to enjoy.

1. The Mustard Pot, Chapel Allerton
The Mustard Pot's huge outdoors spaces are a lovely place to soak up the sun in the heart of Chapel Allerton. The open marquees and heated patio have a roof and tables in the garden have umbrellas. Dogs are allowed in all areas. Booking is recommended. The yummy menu includes a selection of sandwiches, and also mains like fish and chips, cider steam mussles and a lentil pie. 2. Horsforth Brewery Horsforth
Microbrewery Horsforth Brewery has a sun-filled seating patio area outside its taproom. Sample one of their delicious beers, like the Horsforth Pale, or one of the guest beers. 3. The Calverley Arms, Calverley Arms
The Calverley Arms is the perfect country pub to visit with friends and family. They have opened their outdoor area and are serving a reduced menu. including mains like fish and chips, slow-cooked beef bourguignon, and chicken pie - as well as a range of pizzas and burgers. 4. Grumpy's, Farsley
Grumpy's in Farsley's Sunny Bank Mills is a great place for a bite to eat with the family - and it's dog friendly too. Grab a pizza and a drink in their outdoor beer garden and soak up the sun. There is also the Guinness snug shelter, but there is only one so make sure to book in advance. Advance booking is recommended for this popular pizzeria. 5. The Original Oak Headingley
The Original Oak's huge Headingley beer garden is very popular with regulars and students. The pub shows most Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos matches on the big outdoor screen, as well as other games. At the moment, it is operating a reduced menu including burgers, nachos, pizza and pies. Booking in advance is advised but they do accept walk-ins. 6. Kirkstall Bridge Inn, Kirkstall
Nestled on the side of the River Aire, the Kirkstall Bridge Inn has closed most of its car park to create a fantastic outdoor dining area. Sit by the river or in one of the fairy-light lit tipi's for some great drinks from owners Kirkstall Brewery and some delicious food.
