Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country. In Leeds, 279,002 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and March 14, 2021. The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though. Here we reveal which areas in Leeds have vaccinated the smallest percentage of their population.
1. Leeds city centre
1,080 people have been vaccinated in Leeds city centre - meaning eight per cent of over 16s in the area have now been jabbed.
2. University and Little Woodhouse
1,481 people have been vaccinated in University and Little Woodhouse - meaning 14 per cent of over 16s in the area have now been jabbed.
3. Hyde Park
1,085 people have been vaccinated in Hyde Park - meaning 14 per cent of over 16s in the area have now been jabbed.
4. Headingley
1,506 people have been vaccinated in Headingley - meaning 16 per cent of over 16s in the area have now been jabbed.
5. Hyde Park Corner and Woodhouse Cliff
2,383 people have been vaccinated in Hyde Park Corner and Woodhouse Cliff - meaning 18 per cent of over 16s in the area have now been jabbed.
6. Woodhouse and Little London
2,214 people have been vaccinated in Woodhouse and Little London - meaning 20 per cent of over 16s in the area have now been jabbed.
