Leeds hospitals recruiting for housekeepers to start soon

Both Leeds General Infirmary and St James’s University Hospital are recruiting for "patient centred people to work on flexible contracts as facilities technicians"
The hospitals never close, so the hours and shifts available "will vary and will be matched as far as possible to your availability", the trust said.

Hide AdThe vacancy may close before the advertised closing date if sufficient suitable applications are received.
In a social media post advertising the application, the trust said: "You will be based either on a ward or a public area, ensuring that these are kept in a clean and tidy condition, including public toilets and the routine cleaning of touch points.
"You will carry out tasks such as replenishing supplies of soaps, gels and emptying bins.
"You will be responding to requests to clean a hospital bed and the area around it or a side room which will involve cleaning toilets and bathrooms.

Hide Ad"If you are based on a ward, you will also be supporting existing staff to ensure the patients receive food and drink in a timely and efficient way.
"This could involve taking food orders and serving food and drinks to patients, washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy.
The salary for the role is between £18,005 and £19,337 pa.
